Ruwan Jayaweera
Senior Principal
Ruwan is a mechanical engineer with more than 25 years of experience in design and modeling of sustainable, resilient buildings. As a Senior Principal at PAE, he leads teams in design and commissioning and has provided expertise for 20 LEED rated or registered projects, as well as numerous passive, resilient, and Net Zero Energy projects. Ruwan is active in the community as a mentor with the ACE Mentorship Program and MESA, on the A4LE Pacific NW Region Board, is a member of the Oregon Green Schools Committee, is on the Board for Design Corps, and is a founding member of both Room For More and PAE’s JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) committee. As an Adjunct Faculty at Portland State University Mechanical Engineering Department, Ruwan shares his passion for engineering with the next generation of designers.
