- Project has the lowest energy use and the lowest water use for any assisted living project in the world.
- The building boasts a 25% reduction in energy use compared to similar residences through features like an enhanced thermal envelope, triple-pane glazed windows, heat recovery through air ventilation, a recirculating heat pump, LED lighting and sensors, and high-efficiency appliances.
- Captured rainwater and treated graywater for non-potable use saves over 140,000 gallons of water per year for the life of the building.
- 105% of the building’s energy needs are met through onsite solar arrays and offsite solar farms.
