This elementary school design allows for a heightened flexibility for different learning styles, creating spaces that work for multiple activities and collaborative learning. Graphics create a special learning environment and help to showcase how the solar arrays on the rooftop convert the sun into energy for the whole school.
Special Features
- 89kW rooftop photovoltaic panels support an energy efficient system.
- Energy-efficient LED lighting throughout, including color-changing and theatrical LED lighting.
- Rainwater harvesting for non-potable reuse to save water
- Low pressure-loss air handling systems. By reducing pressure loss, the system can operate more efficiently.
- Variable speed single zone air handlers with EC direct driven motors.
- High efficiency condensing boilers designed to maximize the heat output from the fuel they consume while minimizing wasted energy.
